Just add milk or coconut milk and a dash of sweetness! Our faves are our flavoured vanilla cane sugar or a tablespoon of maple syrup!
Hot tea: Put 1 slightly heaping teaspoon of loose tea for each 7-9 oz/200-260 ml of water in the teapot. Pour freshly boiled water over tea.
Steep 3-7 minutes. (for true "chayee chayee" steep at least 7 minutes). While the tea is brewing prepare your cup by adding 2 tsps of sugar and 20% of the cups volume in milk. Then add steeped tea.
Milk and sugar to taste if desired. Lemon and mint not recommended.
Cold Brew Iced Tea: To make 1L/1QT, Add 6 slightly heaping teaspoons to an infuser. Before putting infuser in pitcher, fill pitcher to the top with cold water. Add infuser into pitcher and put in refrigerator for 6-8 hrs or overnight. Infuser can be left in pitcher to release additional antioxidants as cold water brewing. Pour into glass with ice and milk mixed to taste. Use ourMizudashi Cold BrewerorTakeya Iced Tea Brewer for best results.
